       I am the owner of Studio 819 and I have always had a passion for making people look and feel beautiful. I did not always plan on owning my own salon, however I was unexpectedly offered an amazing opportunity that I could not turn down. Now I have a newfound passion for being a business owner. I have spent 15 years in the beauty industry and I have seen many trends come and go. But one thing that never gets old is making people feel special, and that is my goal when a guest is in my chair.

       I started doing my own hair at home at the age of 13, I loved trying different styles and being as creative as I could. Eventually my sisters and my mom started asking me to do their hair too, which I loved of course because it was more fun to do someone else’s hair other than my own. I decided to go to R.G. Drage Career Center my junior and senior year of high school, one of the best decisions I ever made.

I love the creative art of hair and even more, I love connecting with people and making them feel beautiful. There are so many opportunities and possibilities in the beauty industry, and you never know who you will meet.  I love for my guests to feel like they can really open up to me. So often I encounter people that do not have anyone to talk to and need that one person they can trust to open up to. I am a giver and for me this is one way I can give back to people, even if it’s simply lending an ear. I am also very independent, if there is something I don’t know how to do I will find a way to make it happen. I feel education is very important and I know its up to me to be the best stylist I can be. I host in-salon education several times a year for myself and my staff and we attend as many classes as we can, whether they are online or in a classroom.  Education creates motivation and that is essential to growth and growth is essential in this industry!

I really want to get to know you personally and give you a haircut and color that you will love and also a style that boosts your confidence and is practical to your everyday life.
